Even though another comedian, Andy Kauffman, already did this I decided that I needed to do this because I wanted to be a pro wrestler since I was a kid. I haven’t watched much wrestling in the last 10 years but last week I got in the ring and took my first lesson. I got an ASS WHIPPING! Anyone that thinks pro wrestling is fake needs to see this video. The injuries and hits were REAL! Some unintentional but none the less real!
I want to share this pilot with the blog community to get feedback before I send this pilot in to the networks.
This is a quick clip of the fastest wheelie competition winner at Stuntfest 2008 Cleveland. Thompson Raceway Park was the site of this year’s event. More clips coming soon!
While taping our latest episode of SHERIFTV at Kentucky Motor Speedway, we just happened to catch it on tape. Ryan Donohue proposed to girlfriend Kerri Wilson in Tony Kanaan’s pit during practice for the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Motor Speedway on August 8, 2008.
Dean Obeidallah and friends made a video for Queen Rania of Jordan about stereotypes. The video is called “Don’t call me that!” I made a follow up video Midwest style!
Senator Barack Obama will be in my hometown of Dayton, Ohio today for a town hall meeting at Stivers School for the Arts. We found out about this last minute because we were in the middle of editing the pilot for the show so the outside world didn’t exist to us.
Fortunately, Rob Andrews, my producer and camera man tracked down the link to get media passes and we submitted in time. I am going there on behalf of the National Arab American Journalists Association. Our cameras are set up and we are going back at 9:30.
Wish me luck!
I will be writing an article about this even in addition we will be taping for SHERIFTV NEWS.
I’m excited to see Obama and what he has to say about the future of our country
I was friends with Bo way before this reality show. From what I know of him he’s a good guy. I judge people by the way they treat me and the way I see them treat others. I hope he wins (it’ll boost my views too haha)
Rob and I will be heading to Thompson Raceway Park for STUNTFEST 2008 in a couple of hours. I’ve been talking to Scott Caraboolad for the past month about coming up to tape my show. I’ve been riding street bikes since 1999 and I was a fan of the Starboyz since the beginning. This is what I love about my job. I get to hang out with people I used to be a fan of years ago. Tonight on PBS, the series “America at a Crossroads” will air their latest episode featuring many of my friends. The episode is called “STAND UP: MUSLIM AMERICAN COMICS COME OF AGE.”
I’m very excited because it was taped at the 2006 New York Arab American Comedy Festival. Unfortunately I was not performing at the time so I was not there for shows. I did however participate in the 2008 New York Arab American Comedy Festival title “Arabs Gone Wild!” I guess they knew I was coming! Keep reading →
